Michael Crichton, best selling author and movie director, died yesterday at the age of 66 because of cancer.He was the author of books like The Andromeda Strain (1969), The Great Train Robbery (1975), Congo (1980), Jurassic Park (1990), State of Fear (2004), Next (2006) and many more.
He was also the director of movies like Westworld (1973), Coma (1978), The First Great Train Robbery (1979) and more.
He created the American medical drama TV series ER (Emergency Room) for which he won an Emmy Award.
Crichton sold more than 150 million books and was, besides John Grisham and Stephen King, one of the bestsellers of the thriller genre.
