It seems like the 'iphone-dev team' has just about cracked the baseband of the iPhone 3G. Sounds good. And what does it mean...? It means that the carrier unlock of the Apple iPhone 3G is almost in reach. And that means, if you're able to buy an iPhone 3G without contract (quite impossible within the US) you should in future be able to choose your operator for it.
