Today hulu.com turns one year. Congratulations!Seems like hulu is growing fast. Last August they had over 100 million video streams and last month they claim to have streamed 142 million videos. They also say to have 72,000 reviews and 14,000 forum posts on the site.
hulu now counts 110 content providers (including NBC Universal, FOX, Sony Pictures Television, MGM Studios, Comedy Central, Lionsgate, Paramount Pictures, PBS, FX, Sundance Channel and the Sci Fi Channel). That's 70 more than they had at their launch. They also offer now more than 1,000 TV titles, where they had only 90 one year ago. Same for movies: Now 400 and only ten one year ago.
Hopefully they will add HBO soon and the possibility to enjoy their service outside the US. Europe would be a big market for them and they would probably be the first of all their competitors reaching out to this market.
